Job Overview
We are looking for an accounts administrator to work Monday to Wednesday from 8am to 4.15pm. The role requires experience of Xero accounts and Xero payroll.
The candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and ensuring timely payments. This role requires attention to details, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities
Process and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
Prepare and process invoices, and purchase orders.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
Prepare month end and year-end financial closing processes.
Respond to inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
Prepare and process monthly payroll in Xero financial software.
Assist with various admin tasks as needed.
Ensure accurate data entry into Xero accounting software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook, Access.
Knowledge of Xero Financial and Payroll Software.
Consulting with financial auditors, Investment advisors and insurance broker.
Assist with (all aspects of) the financial monitoring of the Modern Apprenticeship Contract with the National Skills Body.
Prepare monthly pension returns.
Prepare quarterly Life Assurance returns.
Prepare and process quarterly VAT returns.
