An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 0-19 operational team lead based in Bracknell Forest provid ing highly visible, professional leadership, management and expertise to both the health visiting and school nursing teams.
You will need to be able to evidence a strong interest and passion for ensuring the service is accessible for all. You need to be a good team player , demonstrat ing strong leadership skills; requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with service users and a range of other agencies and professionals . You will be work ing closely with other Children ’s Service Leads pan Berkshire, in the development and implementation of organisational strategies, policies and practices that meet B erkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and national Health Visiting standards.
To be a proactive member of the 0-19 management team to ensure that best practice and learning is disseminated across the workforce quickly and effectively.
Lead on workforce planning and recruitment alongside the service lead, demonstrating an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the uniqueness of the locality.
Ensure the development of the workforce, promoting a culture of lifelong learning, reflective practice and personal development.
Take responsibility for the service activity performance identifying potential risks and initiating action plans to minimise these .
To l ead by example, display ing a coaching style of leadership that mirrors the ethos and core values of the organisation which inspires and empowers staff.
To a ct independently and on own initiative, set ting a professional and positive example and encourages all team members to be innovative and adopt a problem-solving approach.
Enable and empower all team members to take responsibility for service improvement by developing a culture of innovation and participation in the development of the service and service redesign .
