Supermarket Cashier
Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the checkout.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with proper attention to security.
- Provide customers with receipts and assist with bagging groceries.
- Resolve any customer issues or questions in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Restock shelves and assist with inventory as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy when handling money.
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle busy checkout lines.
