Production Supervisor
Job description
We are looking for a Factory Supervisor who is experienced with the planning, coordination and control of Mild steel, Aluminum, cast aluminum, Glass and Stainless steel fabrications, is crucial for this role. They ensure that goods and services are produced efficiently and that the correct quantity is produced at the right cost and level of quality. This also includes coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to the production schedule.

They ensure that goods and services are produced efficiently and that the correct quantity is produced at the right cost and level of quality. This also includes coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to the production schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee all workshop personnel, including fabricators, welders, and helpers.
- Divide tasks and assign them to the appropriate labor force, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
- Monitor and supervise machining processes to ensure optimal machine hours and productivity.
- Develop and implement a production program that considers all factors affecting production, such as material availability, machine capacity, and labor resources.
- Possess in-depth expertise in metal fabrication techniques, including sheet cutting, bending, rolling, welding (various processes), and metal polishing.
- Proficient in profile cutting, bending, rolling, welding, drilling, tapping, and polishing.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and develop detailed production plans accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards at each stage of the production process.
- Manage and maintain quality control procedures, addressing any non-conformities promptly.
- Update production records and prepare daily or weekly reports using Excel sheets.
- Communicate effectively with team members, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and resolve any production-related issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and develop detailed production plans
- Strong knowledge and experience working with various metals, particularly Stainless Steel, glass, Aluminum, and cast aluminum, and mild steel
- Proficiency in sheet cutting, bending, rolling, welding (all types), and metal polishing.
- Expertise in profile cutting, bending, rolling, welding, drilling, tapping, and polishing.
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures and standards.
- Proficient in using Excel for updating and maintaining production records.
- Active, motivated, and results-oriented individual.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
