Job Title: OT Nurse
Location: Dubai, UAE
Position Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OT Nurse to join our surgical team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-4 year of experience in an operating theater and must be fluent in Arabic. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care and support during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and effective operating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-Operative Care: Prepare patients for surgery by assessing their condition, reviewing medical history, and ensuring they are informed about the procedure.
  • Intra-Operative Support: Assist the surgical team during operations by providing necessary instruments, supplies, and support, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques.
  • Patient Monitoring: Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition during procedures, promptly reporting any changes or concerns to the surgical team.
  • Post-Operative Care: Assist with patient recovery and transfer to the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), ensuring appropriate monitoring and support.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure all surgical equipment is sterile, functioning properly, and readily available for use.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of surgical procedures, patient conditions, and any incidents or complications.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to hospital policies, infection control protocols, and safety regulations to ensure a safe operating environment.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-4 year of experience working in an operating theater.
  • Education: Nursing diploma or degree from a recognized institution.
  • Licensure: MOH - RN
  • Skills: Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
