JOB DESCRIPTION OF OPERATIONS MANAGER: SHOP: Communicating daily with Workshop Planning, Fabrication, Welding, NDE, Painting & dispatching functions –Production to ensure effective control and operation of all areas Preparing and evaluating daily, weekly and monthly achievements and producing an end of month spreadsheet Supporting and coaching Workshop/Production Manager and respective shop Supervisors to reach their full potential Monitoring and controlling man-hours spent in the shop for fabrication and welding. Monitor the productivity of fabrication and welding. SITE: Reviews projects to ensure that assignments are completed. Making sure to prepare method statements and FRA’s for the site execution with respective to the plans. Monitor and review the Mobilization of Manpower for every sites. Making sure to get prepared of Tools and Equipment are mobilized for respective sites for execution. Making sure to support Project team for the effective execution of multiple projects. Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients. Attends client meetings. Visit sites. Maximizing every opportunity by promoting the highest production of customer required quality and recognizing potential development and training opportunities. COMMON: Responsible for executing and meeting the project targets through motivating and developing staff, consistently achieving. Reporting to MD with responsibility for operational and management within shop fabrication, site execution and other operations business. Supporting Project management and department managers to help create their own successful and productive team and become effective team leaders. Monitoring and controlling store compliance in all areas, including customer care, effective planning, staff training and development, organization and time management. Coordinates, oversees and/or manages repair and maintenance work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, landscaping and janitorial work. Responsible for facilities inspections and reports. Responsible for improvement and development of Yard and Site Assets as and when required. Coordinates and manages moves, adds and change management. Obtains and reviews price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects. Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.
