Lecturer - Business Hospitality Management
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our faculty as a Business Hospitality Management lecturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate level courses and mentoring students in the field of hospitality management. The faculty member will also engage in collaborative initiatives with industry professionals and contribute to the growth of the hospitality management department.
Key Responsibilities:
Pay: From AED3,500.00 per month
We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our faculty as a Business Hospitality Management lecturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate level courses and mentoring students in the field of hospitality management. The faculty member will also engage in collaborative initiatives with industry professionals and contribute to the growth of the hospitality management department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Business Hospitality Management, including topics such as Hospitality Operations, Tourism Management, Event Planning, Hotel Management, and Strategic Hospitality.
- Supervise student projects, internships, and fieldwork, providing guidance on practical and research components.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment through active teaching strategies and industry insights.
- Collaborate with industry partners to create opportunities for students, including internships and career placements.
- Participate in department meetings, curriculum development, and other faculty activities.
- Mentor and advise students on academic and career pathways.
- Contribute to accreditation processes and ensure compliance with academic standards.
- Master’s or Doctorate in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a managerial or executive role.
- Demonstrated teaching experience at the college or university level.
- Strong understanding of current hospitality trends, industry standards, and global practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to student success.
- Experience with curriculum development and the ability to integrate technology in teaching.
- Ability to engage with diverse student populations and contribute to an inclusive learning environment.
Pay: From AED3,500.00 per month
