Job Title: Junior HSE Officer Location: Fujairah Salary: 3k-4k Job Summary:The Junior HSE Officer will assist in ensuring that the workplace complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The role involves conducting safety inspections, assisting with incident investigations, and promoting a culture of safety in the organization.Key Responsibilities:

Safety Inspections:Conduct regular safety checks and inspections of the workplace, equipment, and machinery to ensure they meet safety standards and are free of hazards.
Incident Reporting and Investigation:Assist in the reporting and investigation of accidents, incidents, and near-misses. Participate in identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
Compliance Monitoring:Ensure compliance with local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations. Assist in implementing company policies and procedures.
Risk Assessments:Support senior HSE officers in conducting risk assessments and recommending safety measures to minimize potential hazards.
Safety Training:Help organize and conduct basic HSE training sessions for employees on topics such as fire safety, first aid, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Emergency Preparedness:Assist in developing and maintaining emergency response plans, including conducting regular fire drills and ensuring safety equipment is in good condition.
Documentation:Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and safety data sheets (SDS).
Promote Safety Culture:Encourage employees to adopt safe work practices and create awareness about safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Diploma or certification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of HSE regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 14001).
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
Basic understanding of risk assessments and incident investigation techniques.
Willingness to learn and develop within the HSE field.
