Front Desk Officer

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide information about the facility and services.
Check-In/Check-Out:
  • Manage the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for guests.
  • Handle reservations and cancellations accurately.
Communication:
  • Answer phone calls, redirect inquiries, and take messages as needed.
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs and resolve issues.
Administrative Duties:
  • Maintain front desk supplies and ensure the reception area is tidy and organized.
  • Perform clerical tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining guest records.
Security and Safety:
  • Monitor access to the premises and maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Report any security issues or emergencies to the appropriate authorities.
Guest Relations:
  • Address guest complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Promote hotel services and special offers to enhance guest experiences.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or customer service is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with booking/reservation systems.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor.
