Finance Manager
Responsibilities
- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to Managing Director while recommending further courses of action.
- Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
- Maintain the financial health of the organization.
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
- Develop trends and projections for the company’s finances.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
- Manage the preparation of the company’s budget and financial statements and necessary reports.
- Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
- Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
- It is compulsory the candidate must have Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations within UAE related to Finance, VAT and Corporate Tax.
- Ability to create and implement effective policies for finance and accounting departments to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Proficiency in evaluating and improving financial systems and processes to enhance performance and adaptability.
- Skill in directing and managing daily operations, providing support to finance and accounting teams, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Expertise in developing strategies to mitigate financial risks, maximizing profits, and assisting in executive decision-making through insightful financial recommendations.
- Competence in monitoring reporting systems, preparing accurate financial reports, interpreting data, and ensuring adherence to industry regulations and standards.
- Proven experience as a Financial Manager
- Extensive understanding of international financial reporting standards
- Proficient user of finance software
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations within UAE related to Finance, VAT and Corporate Tax.
- Professional qualification such as CA,ACCA,CMA,CIMA or similar will be considered only.
