City University Ajman invites applications from passionate and experienced individuals to join our esteemed dental team as a Dental Nurse. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting dental professionals in all clinical procedures, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and ensuring patient comfort and confidentiality.
Responsibilities:

• Assist dentists/specialists in all clinical procedures, providing chairside assistance.
• Maintain standards of hygiene and cross-infection control according to the latest guidelines and the policies of the University and Ministry of Health.
• Prepare instrument trays for all dental procedures.
• Advise dentists of any faulty or poorly functioning equipment to ensure prompt action is taken for maintenance and service.
• Complete relevant paperwork promptly and accurately, updating and maintaining all client records according to procedures.
• Maintain Registration and comply with all University and College of Dentistry requirements.
• Build trust and caring relationships with all patients, ensuring their comfort while in the dental clinic.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Monitor stock levels for materials and sundries, and coordinate with dentists for ordering.
• Assist the dental team and reception in gaining acceptance for treatment plans from clients.
• Assist in manning the reception as required.
• Prepare necessary documentation and reports as required by the College of Dentistry.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar role.
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing or relevant field
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Commitment to patient care and confidentiality.
