CNC Operator
*Overview*
The CNC Programmer/Operator will create programs for CNC routing and will do woodworking for custom play elements, as well as create and affix wooden bases to play pieces and prepare items. This job will also perform hands-on work, custom products from wood, utilizing saws, CNC machine and other tools.

The CNC Programmer/Operator will create programs for CNC routing and will do woodworking for custom play elements, as well as create and affix wooden bases to play pieces and prepare items. This job will also perform hands-on work, custom products from wood, utilizing saws, CNC machine and other tools.
*Responsibilities*
- Prior background in carpentry and woodworking required, must be familiar with typical millwork/cabinet manufacturing processes
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating and programming with CNC millwork machines, specifically Weeke.
- Very good knowledge of Cabinet Vision
- Candidate must have commercial cabinet manufacturing experience, be able to interpret architectural drawings and have the ability to use that information to produce detailed shop drawings for submittals and cabinet production.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills — able to explain things, convey messages, ask relevant questions, and avoid or resolve conflicts effectively
- Ability to work independently and, alternatively, follow instructions
- Ability to adapt to changes in workflow
- Properly and safely use and maintain shop equipment
