Accountant
We are seeking an experienced Accountant or Accounts Manager with a solid background in the Food and Beverage (F&B) industry to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost control, and compliance with relevant laws and standards. This role will require a deep understanding of F&B industry-specific financial challenges, including inventory management, supplier relations, and operational costs.
Key Responsibilities:
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
- VAT filing and Bank reconciliation.
- Cost Control & Budgeting:
- Oversee the budgeting process, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Monitor and control food and beverage costs, including inventory valuation and waste management.
- Develop and implement cost-saving measures and provide recommendations to improve profitability.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including handling accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments to suppliers, and collections from customers.
- Inventory & Supplier Management:
- Oversee the accounting of inventory levels, including stock management, order tracking, and cost calculations.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely payments and adherence to contract terms.
- Taxation & Compliance:
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, regional, and national tax regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure adherence to financial regulations.
- Payroll & Staff Management:
- Oversee payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments.
- Manage and mentor junior finance staff, providing training and guidance on accounting best practices.
- System Implementation & Improvement:
- Lead efforts in improving financial systems and tools, optimizing the use of accounting software (such as Quick Books, Xero, or other F&B-focused systems).
- Ensure proper documentation and internal controls are in place to safeguard the company’s financial assets.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or masters.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in the Food and Beverage (F&B) industry.
- Strong understanding of F&B-specific financial challenges, such as food costing, inventory management, and supplier relations.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Quick Books,other F&B-focused financial management systems.
- Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and reporting.
- Personal Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
