Position Overview
The ULD Planning & Dispositioning individual is responsible for maintaining balanced ULD stock at all stations on the customer network to meet scheduled and ad hoc ULD requirements of the company’s customers, achieving optimum utilization of ULD.
General Responsibilities
Monitor airline schedules, traffic and ULD utilization to assess ULD requirements at stations and raise appropriate and timely disposition requests.
Stay up to date with airline operational requirements to ensure all customer and station specific requirements are considered when disposition requests are raised.
Take the necessary steps to distribute station ULD stock between the airline ground handling agents as per the agreed allocation.
Maintain good working relations with the field-based teams at stations to assist in effective stock control.
Follow up on performance of disposition requests raised and take corrective actions where non performed.
Seek alternative solutions in coordination with the Customer Success Manager, Customer Success Coordinator when required to balance station ULD stock.
Follow up ULD Dispositioning compliance.
Escalate recurring non-performance issues hindering stock balancing at any station to the Customer Success Manager for initiating follow up action.
Efficiently manage incoming mailbox communications and action as required.
Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
University degree in aviation related field preferred.
Experience in the aviation industry will be an advantage.
Able to work in shift rotation (24/7) and hybrid work environment.
Proficiency in English (oral and written) is required.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel e.g., pivot table.
Good understanding of aviation, logistics planning, and supply chain.
Strong knowledge of data analysis and ability to digest complexity of data.
