The Supply Excellence Manager is responsible for leading the deployment of Mars Supply Excellence (MSE) Program across the site to improve the overall Safety, Quality, Service, Cost Competitiveness, Innovation Delivery and Associate Engagement of the Site in line with site’s ambition, priorities and goals.
This position is accountable for establishing and maintaining the overall systems and processes to ensure the effectiveness, sustainability, and continuous improvement of all pillars under MSE Program.
The role plays a key role within the CHB Site Leadership Team to help shape and drive MSE Culture on site and will be required to influence and drive a business-wide change agenda across all functions and tiers.

Site MSE Program Responsibilities Site MSE Ambition & Plan
Co-Pilot the site MSE Leadership Pillar with the support of the Site Director and coach the Leadership Team on MSE Principles and Tools
Co-create and maintain the Sites Compelling Business Needs with the Site Leadership Team
Co-create and maintain the Site MSE Implementation Road Map with the Site Leadership Team
Site Loss Analysis
Develop a comprehensive Site Loss Map and create a solid understanding of Site Loss Analysis within the Site Leadership Team
Co-create with Site Director and Site IE’s the Site KPI’s to drive loss elimination through the MSE Program
Coach Site Leadership Team and all associates on sites on loss elimination strategies through the MSE Pillars
MSE Capability Development on Site
Define and build critical MSE capabilities for the site from the Site Leadership Team to all associates based on the Site Loss Analysis and business needs
Define Pillar Lead capabilities and provide hands on coaching to Pillar Leads on Loss Analysis and deployment of MSE Pillars on site
Coach Site Leadership Team, Pillar Leads and all associates on site on loss analysis techniques through the Mars U Problem Solving Methodology
Provide visible leadership, role modelling and regular communication with all associates on site on Site on MSE plan deployment and activities
Provide training on Site Loss Analysis and MSE Deployment Tools to all Associates to maintain a high level of awareness and knowledge of the MSE program.
MSE Program Governance and MSE Culture
Ensure governance of overall site MSE program progress based on the Site MSE Master Plan
Ensure deployment of MSE Pillars on site based on Site MSE Master Plan
Manage, measure and communicate the Site MSE Master Plans deployment progress across the site and all internal and external stakeholders
Make recommendations for improvements to the Site MSE Master Plan
Work closely with Global and Regional MSE Leads and other Site MSE Leads to ensure SIte is receiving effective guidance/roaching to ensure best practice deployment of MSE systems/tools.

Context and job scope: This position reports to the CHB Site Director. There are no direct reports, the Production Engineers on all shifts have a dotted line reporting responsibility into to this position. The position maintains close relations with the following:
CHB Site Leadership Team
All Shift Managers and Functional Team Leads on Site
MSE Leads/Managers of other Mars sites within the AP Region
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Science or another related field.
Minimum 7 years working experience in equivalent position preferable within food and beverage manufacturing in a multinational manufacturing / FMCG environment
Solid understanding of TPM/Lean Principles, Techniques and Tools
Solid Project Management experience in driving organization wide improvement programs
Good understanding of Safety and Quality Management System requirements and processes, within food or pharmaceutical manufacturing operations is required
Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs and ability to lead others through change
Strong team player and leader with ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines
Strict attention to detail mindset
An energized, optimistic ‘can do’ attitude
Demonstrate Mars Five Principles
Good command of spoken and written English
