Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a high-quality menu featuring authentic Asian cuisine, tailored to the tastes and preferences of our international clientele.
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish.
- Lead and manage a team of culinary professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high standards of performance.
- Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with the hotel’s culinary team to integrate Asian cuisine offerings with overall dining experiences.
- Innovate and update the menu regularly to reflect seasonal ingredients, current trends, and guest feedback.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and cost control to meet budgetary goals.
- Extensive international experience as an Asian Chef, with a proven track record in high-quality Asian cuisine.
- Deep knowledge and experience in preparing a wide range of Asian dishes, including traditional and modern recipes.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a culinary team.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with a focus on efficiency and quality.
- Familiarity with high-end restaurant operations and the ability to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
- Formal culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are preferred.
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
