Job description
General Role - Assure the right level of knowledge, skills, and competencies in place at Store level, with a specific focus on retail training and coaching. - Training contents will get across the Brand’s history, selling techniques and tips, cross and up selling opportunities as well also selling rituals and ceremonies. - Will be also accountable for assuring the right level of skills and commitment - Coaching at store level, supporting Store Manager in developing and growing the overall sales staff capabilities.
Major Responsibilities:
Detect the training needs of the network to make an annual training plan adjusted to the employees’ needs that enables them to compensate their development needs to achieve the proposed goals.
Participate in the preparation and monitoring of the Training area budget to provide it with the resources necessary for the implementation of the defined goals.
Design, implement and monitor the Annual Training Plan in order to satisfy the needs detected and comply with the proposed calendar and assigned budget together with Head of Retail.
Select and manage the different external suppliers that enable the defined training plan to be carried out in order to ensure that the commitments made comply in time and form.
Evaluate both the internal and external training given in terms of satisfaction and practical application in order to ensure that the quality standards required are being complied with.
Give training courses on the product, sales techniques, corporate and culture training in order to implement the designed training plan.
Design, prepare contents and train the worldwide retail network on the product to cover the area’s specific needs.
Prepare and coordinate the international integration programme in order to create a corporate feeling among the people worldwide
Establish goals, organize activities, give direction, encourage training and manage staff relations in order to further their professional development, as well as to involve them in achieving the goals and to maximize their performance.
Requirements & Capabilities:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Training function in retail industry
Excellent planning, presentation and communication skill
Able to deal with ambiguity
Self motivated and initiated
Good command of English
Certified Trainer is an advantage
Experience in facilitating both technical and soft skill training workshop
