Site Lean Leader A very important role and position in site (manager level), direct report to site Operations Director or Plant Manager, dotted-line report to Global Vice President of Operational Excellence The purpose and scope of role To ensure continuous improvement embed across all functions in site by using industry best practices and i Lean and i Sigma tools to drive global standardization and site strategic deployment, also to champion Isola Operational Excellence culture and Lean Six Sigma transformation to make sure business sustainable and successful. Key Responsibilities
Set up and drive site Continuous Improvement by implementing global standardization, Gemba Kaizen, i OE tools and systems.
Drive and facilitate site Gemba Kaizen Events and activities to ensure progress and performance on track.
Train and coach Kaizen team on the problem-solving skills and tools application.
Lead regular Gemba Walk and Gemba Review with local management team to ensure daily problem solving, LDM, Gemba Kaizen etc., all Kaizen activities well embraced and executed on shop floor.
Ensure site disciplined, data-driven, systematic problem solving to improve SQDCPI to meet annual targets as well as realize year over year performance continuously improvement.
Sever as the site centralized resource to track and report KPIs, also assess and drive each function to truly embrace and execute Continuous Improvement activities.
Lead site top critical issues' Kaizen activities when necessary to demonstrate using i Lean and i Sigma tools to solve the problem effectively and efficiently.
Work with site top leader and other functional leaders to ensure i OE management systems and Continuous Improvement culture sustainable and successful, till to be the DNA of organization.
Drive site to site Read-across and Best Practice sharing to make the best use of the know-how and experiences from other sites.
Partner with other facilities' i Lean & i Sigma masters to develop and deliver i Lean and i Sigma modular training and practice.
Key Deliverables
Site day-to-day Kaizen activities driving and coaching to ensure all Kaizen projects performance on track and meeting cost saving targets.
Drive year over year SQDCPI improvement by implementing i Lean & i Sigma tools training and problem solving.
Well coordinate with local leadership team to ensure high engagement and High-Performance Culture embedded.
Ensure all functions are well aligned and support i OE with effective and efficient communication.
Cultivate site Kaizen talents and enhance problem solving abilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, minimum of 10 years in lean and manufacturing leadership roles. Laminate or Semiconductor industry experience is preferred.
Strong demonstrated experience in driving Continuous Improvement and Lean Six Sigma transformation by using Lean Six Sigma philosophy and methodologies.
Strong leadership capabilities with a proven history in driving change, problem solving and Gemba Kaizen.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills with critical thinking and logical thinking.
Strong training, coaching and facilitation skills.
