Job Description Summary
The Integration Compliance Leader is a member of the APAC Regional Compliance team and is responsible to lead, develop and manage the compliance program of all sites in Taiwan in line with GE Aerospace’s compliance principles, and providing compliance support, governance, and leadership to the local leadership team.
This role will also be responsible for leading the MRO site Compliance Team. This leader will play a critical role in accelerating compliance culture change and integration at the site, executing compliance standard work, coaching leaders and employees, and recruiting and maintaining a local site compliance ambassador team.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- This role will work closely with local leadership on site to build a culture of compliance across the site, including:
- Work with the business leadership and other APAC regional leaders to execute on, and develop new, compliance integration activities to shape the culture of compliance at the site;
- Train and develop a local site compliance ambassador team;
- Grow a compliance network consisting of dotted-line, part-time site compliance representatives & ombuds to promote open reporting and a superior integrity culture;
- Develop and lead a site compliance communications plan (such as All Hands, Staff Meetings, Compliance flowdown to salaried and operators, visual compliance, training);
- Monitor and action compliance trends and Health Check & SCRA tasks at the site;
- Partner with the central compliance investigations team or legal team to ensure early detections or risks and gaps and develop effective corrective actions; On occasion conduct compliance investigations or oversee compliance investigations.
- Coordinate compliance risk assessment process and support on any other compliance initiatives as required.
- Spend time on the Shop floor and with functional teams to learn of challenges, design effective solutions as required and ensure engagement with the compliance program.
- Provides leadership and oversight to business operations in the designated area, to assure adherence to all aspects of internal company and external regulatory compliance.
- Support other compliance initiatives relevant to the sites in Taiwan as required (risk mitigation activities, on-the-ground investigations support, when needed).
Qualifications/Requirements:
- At least 7 years of experience in a compliance, risk management or legal position.
- Languages: proficient Mandarin; English advanced in speaking and writing
- Good communication skills and ability to interact at all levels of the organization
- Good judgment and problem solving attitude
- Strong leadership skills to lead, coach, develop team members, and work in a matrix organization
