The Lab Automation & Workflow Consultant Lead is responsible for developing lab automation/IT and consulting services in alignment with RDTW’s 1000-day vision. This role strives to establish Roche as the top brand for smart lab solutions by delivering tailored end to end, integrated solutions (Hardware, Software, Assay) that meet market needs.
As the leader, you will inspire creative thinking, foster teamwork, and maintain a customer-centric approach to build trust and confidence in Roche's automation solutions. You will own the team in translating strategic insights into actionable business strategies, ensuring flawless collaboration across internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional teams.
In both pre-sales and post-sales environments, you will strategize and deliver state-of-the-art lab workflows, demonstrating the value of workflow consulting to position Roche as the market leader. By engaging with laboratory customers on integrated testing solutions, you will help expand the laboratory's role in the pre-pre and post-post processes, ensuring continuous efficiency improvements and high customer satisfaction.

Product Life Cycle Management (Auto & IT):
- Define and complete strategic product marketing plans and handle day-to-day product tasks.
- Develop key selling messages, sales tools (e.g., brochures, presentations, advertisements).
- Lead projects with regional/global teams and business partners for balanced growth.
- Lead all aspects of new solution launches and handle the Auto & IT lifecycle from introduction to phase-out.
- Handle pricing strategies, inventory, and regulatory tasks, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Address quality issues and collaborate with the QA team.
- Supervise automation opportunities and work closely with the CST team.
- Regularly update marketing activity reports.
Market Insights & Strategy:
- Assemble market insights through customer visits and competitor analysis.
- Incorporate these insights into product strategies to adapt to market trends.
Market Leadership in Automation:
- Conduct market surveys and explore new solutions.
- Deliver coordinated solutions (Auto, IT, Platform, Assay) with workflow consultants.
- Collaborate with the Digital Healthcare team to develop C-suite engagement strategies.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Coordinate training for CTSs and relevant stakeholders.
- Liaise with regional/global colleagues and third-party business partners (e.g., PPA companies).

- You have a comprehensive view of Clinical/Medical Laboratories, their processes both in and outside the lab, and a proven understanding of the Taiwan Healthcare system.
- You are able to plan, complete, and handle projects in a professional and timely manner.
- You possess strong communication and presentation skills.
- You are capable and willing to work cross-functionally with various stakeholders.
- You hold a University degree in Medical Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Information Science, or preferably Business Management, or other relevant education.

- 10+ years in Commercial roles (Sales/Marketing/Product/Consultant) in IVD.
- Validated people management experience.
- Proven track record of crafting market and customer needs, especially in laboratory workflow and efficiency.
