The Sales Manager has to supervise the correct execution of the commercial strategy for Underwear & Beachwear lines at Country / Channel level to achieve business goals and support the growth. Cooperate with both corporate and local sales teams to guarantee the achievement of defined goals. Collect product feedback from the Countries and ensure the Brand visibility in store is aligned with the Company’s image and strategy.
Coordinate the Underwear commercial strategy and ensure execution at Country / Channel level
Coordinate consistency between the channels through a continuous monitoring of the different merchandising
Provide specific market needs and pricing feedback to the business unit making sure they are reflected into the collection.
Train and coach our local sales force on product/selling techniques
Be a liaison between the Business Unit and all the involved stakeholders (internal and external) to guarantee and provide all the necessary product tools and product know-how to properly promote the line and support the sales during the market.
Coordinate, collect, organize, dispatch all the product tools related to the line: lookbook & video/power point presentation, sales book, product trainings, order intake system material, samples set distro and top samples/pictures.
Supervise and ensure a corrected execution of Trade Marketing actions in order to support commercial development.
Support the key clients during the sales campaign, in accordance with corporate or local sales team
Plan and implement long-term development strategies
Coordinate the NOOS program, forecast sales and ensure product availability
Work with merchandisers and find new ways of expanding product categories
Keep daily track of the selling campaign, shipments and replenishment business.
Analyze data and create reports to identify areas of business growth
Oversee and optimize both product/sales performances and cancellation rate.
Analyze market trends, product performances and competitor activities in order to identify growth opportunities and market gaps.
Coordinate and manage sales operations and processes.
Analyze data and sales report regularly, conduct financial assessments, and develop strategies to maximize revenue and profitability
Product line presentation to the Sales Force (following all steps from the organization to the presentation) ensuring the product vision and commercial imperatives are communicated effectively to the internal sales organization and external agent network
Analyze seasonal product and sales performance on a daily basis: analysis of sales data and product performances/product mix cross regions and channels (wholesale, retail, e-com)
Review the B2B and RTL editing in order to ensure consistency across all the channels
Collect from the sales force specific and relevant needs in terms of product offer, potential additions, price requirements and competitors’ best practice to improve our service level.
Keep updated on market knowledge of Guess Brand, seasonal competitor’s analysis and product benchmarking.
Arrange post sales campaign and provide detailed reports to the business unit.
Coordinate and follow-up specific Product Fixtures and Packaging development
Support, execute and follow-up all in-season requests (i.e. late-add/new opening/re-run styles) with internal buyers and external sales force.
Requirements
At least 5/6 years’ experience in a sales environment, preferably in the fashion industry
Excellent knowledge of the fashion industry, with a focus on the Underwear line
Good knowledge of the European market and of its dynamics
Demonstrated experience with both wholesale and retail channels
Attention to detail and follow-up
Strong data and excellent analytical and time management skills
Must possess strong leadership skills and be well organized, self-motivated, focused on meeting deadlines and able to multitask within a fast-paced environment
