\u D83D\u DE80 Your role:

Become part of our team as we’re at the beginning of building out our people department. We’re looking for our first People Operations Manager in Switzerland. In this pivotal position, you'll be overseeing the day-to-day activities of our people operations and reporting directly to our Head of People. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in shaping our people operations for the future.

Your mission is to drive and refine our HR processes, with a keen focus on elevating the employee experience at every touchpoint within our employee lifecycle.
\u D83D\u DD0D What you’ll do:
  • Embody People Operational Excellence by serving as the first point of contact for employee inquiries on benefits, leave, payroll, policies and more, ensuring compliance with Swiss Employment Law
  • Own and execute the whole HR cycle, including onboarding and offboarding processes, collaborating with our Employee Experience Manager to create seamless experiences
  • Collaborate regularly with the people team, managers, and external providers/stakeholders to address employment-related issues and ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain personnel records and ensure data accuracy within our HRIS system (Hibob), taking pride in keeping everything right in the system
  • Own People Tooling Automation: Generate reports and track people analytics, including overtime and absence management. Collect, curate, and interpret data to create people insights that guide strategic decision-making in partnership with the Head of People
  • Drive administrative efficiencies by proactively identifying inefficiencies, updating old policies, and implementing continuous process improvements across all HR functions
  • Oversee payroll input and collaborate with our Finance Manager on payroll cycles, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Lead and participate in strategic people team projects, such as designing innovative benefits programs (total rewards) and implementing employee engagement surveys
\u D83D\u DEE0️ What you’ll need:
  • 4-6 years of experience as an HR Generalist across a full range of HR topics in a fast-paced tech or startup environment, with sound knowledge of Swiss Employment Law (familiarity with other EU countries is a plus)
  • Experience in creating and updating HR policies, as well as launching innovative benefits programs for employees
  • Strong affinity for people, process simplification, and problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in an organized manner
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate systems and records, coupled with the ability to handle project ambiguity and complexity while always building for scale
  • Proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of a growing organization
  • Tech-savvy with a passion for leveraging technology to improve HR processes, including experience with or interest in people analytics and data-driven decision making
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in both German and English (verbal and written)
