Izakaya Nozomi in the Hotel Barabas brings traditional Japanese cuisine directly to Lucerne and reveals a culinary tradition that has so far kept a low profile in our city. Your area of responsibility:
As part of our dynamic kitchen team, you will be introduced to all aspects of Japanese food preparation. Your tasks will include preparing ingredients, assisting in the preparation of traditional dishes, developing our seasonal menu, managing your station independently and helping to maintain quality and hygiene standards in our kitchen.
What you bring with you:
Ideally a passion for Japanese cuisine and a desire to develop your skills in this area
Team player and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Reliability and commitment to achieving common goals
Willingness to learn new skills and accept constructive feedback
Basic knowledge of food hygiene is an advantage, but not essential
