The key function of this role is to drive profitable sales growth of allocated customers in the Swiss market.
Generally, the role will involve managing the operational customer relationships internally and externally, including owning the operational commercial relationships within customers. Main goals are to maintain strong customer relationships and best execute customer plans that deliver objectives of revenue, growth, profit, product/assortment, everyday shelving, merchandising, pricing, and promotions.
What are we looking for?
University / higher education degree in economics, sales, marketing or similar.
First fundamental practical experience in retail sales (FMCG is a plus), ideally some of it in key account or customer management. Knowledge of the Swiss market preferred.
Accountability and ownership on the job including selling, negotiating, and leveraging insights to deliver customer plans, achieving company and customer objectives.
Strong interpersonal, influencing, negotiation and analytical skills.
Strong willingness to develop professionally and personally.
Fluent in German (written and spoken) obligatory, strong English skills, French ofinfluences advantage.
What will be your key responsibilities?
This role is expected to generate and execute customer business plans that deliver company and customer objectives, mainly delivering Net Sales Value / Earnings Growth vs target through maximizing all available levers and resources.
The role manages customer relationships and to implement solutions (e.g., sales revenue, trade revenue optimization, customer profitability) that deliver mutually beneficial results for the customer and company.
The role is required to execute all agreed to solutions with the customer to include accurate, timely forecasting, detailed follow-through and efficient trade revenue optimization to an agreed budget.
