We are looking for an Accountant to join our mission to create a #Cyber Fit future and protect all data, applications, and systems across any environment. The Accountant will manage our accounting activities and will be reporting into the Finance Manager. The role would help us to scale the business and increase our financial efficiency. By ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with regulations, the Accountant will play a crucial part in our growth strategy. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with various departments, providing financial insights and support to drive informed decision-making.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing of the entity based in Switzerland, including trend analysis and balance sheet reconciliation
Preparation and filing of VAT returns
Preparation and filing of all tax returns
Preparation of annual Statutory Financial statements
Oversee internal and external communications (tax office, banks, auditors, consultants)
Oversee Accounts payable and check payments
Responsible for the controlling of the Swiss entity
Assist in the development of internal reporting and ad hoc analysis as required
WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
5+ years of accounting experience in a similar environment
German as a native language is a must
Professional Microsoft Excel and ERP knowledge
Strong Background with Swiss Local Code, Swiss GAAP standards, and US GAAP is a plus
High level of discipline, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while still maintaining a high level of accuracy
Strong written, and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills
Team player with a positive attitude, willing to go the extra mile and help out, sees challenges as opportunities
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
Management experience is a plus
Passion and commitment to succeed by working hard and never giving up
