Immediately: Live-in Nanny-Housekeeper in Geneva Downtown
A Swiss family returning to Geneva after years living abroad is looking for a Live-In Nanny-Housekeeper with basic cooking abilities to start immediately.
We are seeking a warm, energetic nanny who loves children, with a big smile and a positive attitude, to become part of this welcoming family. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!
Location: Geneva Center (Old Town)
Start Date: ASAP
Position Type: Live-In, Long-Term
Language Requirement: Fluent English preferred; Spanish speakers also considered
Children ages: An 11-year-old girl, an 8-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl. Children attend the school until 4-5 pm.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 45 hours per week. Flexibility for weekends, especially Saturdays, with occasional travel to the mountains or family visits in France.
Long-term contract
Accommodation in a private bedroom with bathroom.
Market rate salary in Canton Geneva. Live-in positions have a monthly salary in kind deduction of CHF 990 for accommodation and food (CHF 33 per day).

- Prepare breakfast and help children to be prepared for school.
- Grocery shopping (most of the grocery is via delivery service).
- Morning: Full housekeeping duties, ensuring the apartment is clean and tidy. (Laundry and ironing).
- Afternoon: Pick up children from school at 4-5 pm, assist with homework, and handle after-school activities.
- Evening: Prepare and serve dinner. Children have dinner at 5:30 pm, as soon they arrive home.
- Prepare children for bed, read bedtime stories and put the children to bed
- Provide a positive and energetic environment, keeping the children engaged and safe.
- Wednesday afternoons are busier; children come home at 1 pm
- The mother works from home and requires quiet time for her work
- The father often travels for work
- There are not pets at home but the family spends time in the countryside, so the nanny should be comfortable around animals
- Eligibility to work in Switzerland: EU/Swiss passport or Swiss permit
- Written letters of recommendation or job certificates that we can validate
- At least 3-5 years of experience working with private families in the same role.
- Fluency in English
- Organised, dynamic, with genuine love for children and a sunny disposition
- Willing to travel with the family occasionally during weekends or holidays
- Available to work live-in and start immediately
- No driving license is required
