Job Opportunities in Switzerland

Position: Part-time nanny with a driving license, fluent in English or French.
Start date: November or December. The family is flexible.
Location: near Montreux
Children: A 9-year-old girl.
Schedule: To start Monday and Tuesday from 12:30 to 6:00/ 6:30 pm - 10-12 hours per week. Depending on the nanny's flexibility the family can offer a contract of 50%.
When the parents travel, around 5-6 weeks per year, they will need help full-time, including overnights.

Responsibilities:

• Pick up the girl at school and drive her to her after-school activities. The position requires a lot of driving.
• Maintain her bedroom and playing area organized and tidy. The nanny will be in charge of her wardrobe, including the laundry and ironing of her clothes. The family has a cleaner but the nanny will be responsible for all related to the child.
• Homework supervision. If the nanny can help with maths will be a plus.
• Ensuring a safe and nurturing childcare environment and engaging the child in games and activities according to her age.

Requirements:

• Eligibility to work in Switzerland (Swiss/EU Passport or Swiss Permit)
• Letters of recommendation or job certificates that we can verify
• Updated casier judiciaire / DBS.
• A confident driver with a clean and valid driving license in Switzerland.
• Fluency in French and/or English.
• Calm, organised, friendly, warm personality
• Able to set boundaries and maintain a structured environment.
• Organized, punctual, and reliable, with strong communication skills.
• Comfortable with pets, as the family has two well-behaved medium-sized dogs
• Flexibility to help full-time when parents travel
