From December: Live-in Housekeeper -Childcare 36 hours a week - Geneva Old Town
A family living in Geneva old town, is looking for a dedicated and experienced 80% Housekeeper & Childcare Assistant to join their home. The family provides accommodation in a private studio in the same building.
The ideal candidate has experience working in private homes, cooking skills and the ability to assist with childcare responsibilities.
The parents would like to have more children so there is a possibility of extending this position to full-time as their needs evolve. Both parents work full-time and currently, they have a nanny.
Start date: December 2024
Children: A girl aged 7 years old.
The family is planning to have more children and hire a candidate full-time.
Schedule: From 12 pm to 7 7:30 pm (36 hours a week)
Family language: English, Italian, French, Japanese.
Candidate language required: English. Italian is a plus.
Main tasks:

- Household chores including laundry and ironing
- Prepare dinner. The famliy loves Italian food. The family also likes to cook.
- Pick up the daughter from the school when the nanny is not available.
- Travel on weekends to Italy.
- Eligibility to work in Switzerland, Swiss/French Passport or Swiss permit
- Written letters of recommendation or job certificates that we can verify
- Previous experience in the same role working in private homes.
- Cooking skills. The family has a preference for the Italian cuisine.
- Experience in childcare and a genuine love for working with children.
- Proficiency in English is required. Italian is a plus.
- Manage time effectively, and work independently.
- Flexibility for travel is essential. Accompany the family on frequent weekend trips to Italy.
- Pet-Friendly. The family has a Labrador.
