Responsibilities Under the leadership of the Head of Governance, the Governance & Finance Associate is responsible for providing support in the day-to-day activities of the Governance team. Governance support
Support the organization of the Executive Board
Prepare relevant documentation
Produce regular reporting and debriefing
Produce background research, take minutes in English and French
Manage common mailboxes
Provide daily support to the Head of Governance
Produce regular reporting and debriefing
Support the Institute’s internal communication
Support the Institute with the organization of meetings and events
Track media requests and events
Finance support
Support in processing and recording financial transactions
Support in checking incoming invoices
Support in preparing financial audits (including with the preparation and analysis of budgets and financial reports)
Support the monitoring of expenditures to ensure that program funds are utilized appropriately by the close of the fiscal year.
Office management
Answer phone calls
Provide general administrative support
Maintain and manage office equipment and supplies in collaboration with HR

Duration: indefinite
Start date: 1st November 2024
Location: Geneva office
Working rate: full-time at 32 hours per week (Mondays to Thursdays)

Your profile
Experience, Skills and Attributes
Very good knowledge of English and French
Relevant studies (CFC, Brevet, University degree, etc.) and 1-3 years’ experience in administration and finance/accounting
Executive Assistant experience an asset
Strong knowledge of full MS Office Package
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proactive, flexible, detailed and organized
Commitment to work in NGOs - not for profit sector
