As a Solutions Provider and Innovation Partner , the Celanese Micromax™ business is focused on applying our >60 years experience in thick film electronic pastes to resolve a broad set of material science challenges. Customers look to us to apply our extensive knowledge to create innovative, high-quality materials that will perform well no matter how demanding the application.
With our products, electrical designers can create or specify high performance printed electronic circuits and components on flexible, rigid and hybrid substrates including printable, stretchable, and moldable electronics. Ceramic circuitry can endure high temperatures and the most challenging environments.
Target markets and applications includes a wide range of industries like automotive, consumer electronics, biotechnology, telecommunications, defense, aerospace or information technology.
Responsibilities of the EMEA Commercial Leader:
- Lead the EMEA commercial team to implement the global business strategy and deliver the revenue and earnings goals in the region.
- Build a Project Pipeline that supports the growth aspiration across the strategic market segments.
- As a member of the Micromax™ leadership team, provide market & customer VOC to the development and continuous update of the global strategy.
- Work with peers and global functional leaders (T&I, Market Segment, Product Management, SOP, etc) to ensure effective deployment of resources in alignment with the business priorities.
- Develop sustainable business relationship with key customers and OEM’s in the EMEA region. Coordinate with peers in other regions to ensure effective global key account management.
- Establish effective relationships with Distributors and Channel partners in the region. Ensure alignment in the implementation of commercial growth strategies.
- Network with Celanese Engineering Materials leaders to leverage market access and accelerate growth in the region.
- Building a winning team. Continuously assess and support development needs to achieve the business aspirations in the EMEA region.
- Advance and role model the Celanese Culture
Qualifications:
What YOU will bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 5+ years’ experience in commercially oriented roles (Sales, Application development, Marketing, Product Management).
- Commercial acumen: Negotiation and Contract management, Industry and Competitive analysis, Business development and Sales strategy.
- Good Interpersonal Skills. Ability to interact with teams with diverse backgrounds internally and externally.
- Excellent and professional communication skills (oral & written). Business English proficiency as minimum.
- Growth mindset. Results orientation. Champions change. Encourages and coach others to seek opportunities for innovative approaches to problem solving and to overcome barriers in the way of growth.
- Willingness to travel 40-50% of the time
Qualifications - Preferred:
- Managerial / Supervision experience leading commercial or new business development teams.
- Experience in the Electrical Electronics, Automotive or Telecommunications industry
Preferred Location: Germany, UK, Switzerland, France, Benelux.
