About the job
The Energy Division at Alfa Laval is shifting toward clean technologies, creating many new business opportunities. We are active in the hydrogen value chain, where our heat transfer technologies are core components. Alfa Laval’s proprietary technologies and heat transfer expertise, in combination with its global manufacturing capabilities, are essential to enable the acceleration of a hydrogen economy through our mission to facilitate affordable and efficient solutions at industrial scale. Together with our customers, we are now increasing our focus around innovative technologies for electrolyzer and fuel cell technologies.
As part of this exciting journey, the Electrolyzer and Fuel Cell Technologies (EFT) team is growing rapidly. Operating like a start-up but with the backing of an industrial giant, our EFT team has its own concept lab and is at the beginning of a significant growth curve. To help us meet the increasing demands of our customers, we are now looking for a Strategic Purchaser who can play a key role in building and expanding our supply chain.
In this role, you’ll lead and participate in sourcing and purchasing activities, ensuring the quality and compliance of goods and services. You’ll manage project deliveries, time planning, budgeting, and documentation, while collaborating with stake holders to enhance our souring capabilities. You’ll work closely with a dedicated team in Lund and report to the Purchasing Manager EFT OPS. The role also provides opportunities for both local and international travel, allowing you to collaborate with suppliers and teams across various regions.

Furthermore, to succeed in this position, we expect you to have:

A degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.

Proven experience in sourcing and procurement.

Strong project management and organizational skills.

Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written

Good knowledge in Microsoft Office
