Mission:
Our mission is to drive sustainable growth by developing and implementing optimized pricing strategies for global strategic customers. By managing price lists and tailoring pricing approaches, we ensure profitability, competitiveness, and long-term partnerships, contributing to 30% of the company's revenue.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, differentiate, and manage pricing strategies and methodologies for existing product and services, new technology and acquired businesses.
- Maintain, update, and improve the pricing model, quality and structure applied in the price management system. Align with relevant strategies of Epiroc.
- Fundamentally understand and make use of product features and metrics affecting value creation using qualitative and quantitative approaches.
- Initiate and follow up on strategic pricing improvement projects and campaigns.
- Work with Product Portfolio team to follow competitor prices related to strategic pricing projects and implement on strategic initiatives.
- Take the responsibility of pricing initiatives and lead projects that are counted as strategic moves by the company (e.g. Dynamic Pricing, Trading risks, improved value based pricing material and selling arguments).
- Own the performance of global strategic customers` contractual business.
- Collaborate and openly share business requirements and information with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Assure to have transparent and continuous dialogue specifically within the pricing team functions.
- Track, audit and review existing and new regional/global pricing agreements and price lists, apply a global perspective to align and harmonize price levels across regions and customers.
- Implement a strategic approach in service and different types of pricing to capture the value created by Epiroc.
Competence, Skills and Experience:
- University degree in relevant field, e.g., Business, Economics or Engineering, is highly preferred or acquired similar competence through experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
- Possess very strong analytical capabilities with a proven business acumen and customer orientation.
- Able to create buy-in on various levels of the organization through excellent communication and networking skills; a strong command in English, both spoken and written, is required.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office is required, with a special emphasis on MS Excel - handling and analysing large data sets and communicating fact-based analyses and proposals in reports and presentations to management is an expectation.
