Main Planner to Power Transformers
Description
We are seeking a dynamic Main Planner to optimize our production processes. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining our master production plan, aligning it with market demand, inventory levels and resource capacity. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll identify and resolve bottlenecks, drive continuous improvement, and ensure smooth operations. If you have a strong analytical mindset and a passion for efficiency, we’d love to hear from you!
You will be part of Power Transformers in Ludvika. We manufacture power transformers and reactors up to the highest occurring powers and voltages. The Transformer unit in Ludvika has the core competence within the ultra-high voltage levels that are required to transfer a large amount of energy over long distances. Most of the new technology for power transformers is developed here in Ludvika.

Your responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the master plan considering forecasts, inventory levels and resource capacity
- Analyze market trends and customer demand to support production alignment
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks
- Collaborate with various departments such as sales, engineering and project management to ensure a reliable plan
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives for the planning process
- Regularly monitor progress towards milestones and identify deviations or roadblocks
- Develop planning scenarios to support Sales & Operations Planning
- Set delivery dates for quotations
- Identify potential risks that could threaten the plan’s success and develop contingency plans to mitigate them
Your background
- Relevant education or equivalent experience in supply chain management, industrial engineering or related field
- Experience in production planning and scheduling is preferred
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g Excel, Power BI or similar)
- Good communication- and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across departments
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in both spoken and written English is required; Swedish language skills are a plus
