Our trainee programme is a unique entry point into the world of renewables. As a Trainee in our Operational & Maintenance team you will:

• Collaborate on operational and maintenance strategies to learn and implement best practices for O&M
• Analyze and manage maintenance activities for our hydro and wind power facilities, focusing on enhancing safety, availability and profitability
• Assist in developing risk assessments (RCM) and gain hands-on experience with root cause analysis techniques (RCA)
• Support long-term budgeting and cost tracking efforts related to maintenance and safety within the area
• Contribute to creating spare parts strategies based on risk value for different facilities

Please note that the home base for this role will be in Laholm, Sollefteå and/or Östersund, Sweden.

Qualifications

We are looking for recent graduates who are motivated to join us in leading the green energy transition. Below are some qualifications we believe are beneficial as a trainee at Statkraft:

• Master’s degree within relevant area of Engineering (Energy, Electrical, Mechanical) or similar
• No more than one year of work experience post education (excluding internships/part-time jobs)
• Strong and proven ability to collaborate with others and work as a team player
• Curious and open minded towards different tasks and work environments
• Open to relocate during your trainee program for a period of 6 months
• Fluency in English and Swedish is required (other European languages are an asset)
