A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Work with Commercial team on Field Inventory strategies, improvement programs, optimization initiatives and customer Field Inventory Return On Investment (ROI) reviews across the business.
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities to make the consignment reconciliation process as efficient and effective as possible.
• Effective business engagement and analysis on PAR level effectiveness, inventory saving opportunities and backlog optimization programs for improved service levels.
• Develop programs to reduce SOGL exposure from Field Inventory practices
• Implement process improvements across supply chain, business and sales to optimize Field Inventory, backlog and key supply chain metrics for Inventory and Obsolescence.
• Implement Monthly and/ or Quarterly Field Inventory health checks.
• Identify operational issues or inefficiencies to enable improvement initiatives to address the root causes.
• Work within and actively promote Medtronic’s Mission, corporate strategies, policies, procedures and Code of Conduct.
• Comply with Medtronic’s Finance and Legal policies and procedures, respond to both Internal and External Audit enquiries in a timely manner, and ensure follow-up on action items to address audit recommendations.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Completed Bachelor’s degree qualifications
  
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience working in Supply Chain / field inventory management field, supply chain strategy, analytics and process improvement, either in order management with consignment stock or distribution channel inventory or consignment management
  
• Demonstrated project management experience in leading operational excellence
  
• Excellent presentation skills and effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Korean languages
  
• MS Office and SAP proficiency
  
• Ability to interact with multinational employees on different hierarchy levels
  
• Excellent stakeholder relationship management
  
• Achievement oriented and ability to drive results with the highest quality standards
  
• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or an MBA is preferred
  
• Industry experience is highly regarded, FMCG/consumer goods is also fine
  
• Experience to have problem solving via Lean or other innovation methodology
