This role is supporting the cargo commercial, operations and administration; and dealing with all cargo office requirements in South Korea as listed below. Responsibilities:
Answer enquiries from customers on both import and export, service and irregularities.
Together with operations, maintain and arrange replenishment of the office's forms, labels and stationery inventories and other administrative supports. Arrange pre-alerts for hi-tech product shipments to transits and destinations.
Supporting the commercial and operations teams to handle cargo bookings, reservations, entries into the system before flight; close and verify airwaybills after flights.
Provide commercial support, analytical support to the Cargo team.
Support the Cargo Manager - South Korea, Cargo Sales Manager - South Korea, and Cargo team in the day-to-day reports and duties, including commercial offers, contracts, EQ, claims, schedule and company updates, and other enquiries.
Assist in maintaining an up-to-dated customer database of South Korea.
Verify daily that shipments are on-forward as per booked connection and communicate the same with customers.
Assist in complying all performance reports on timely manner and communicate and reconcile the same with customers on bi-weekly basis, or on need basis.
Assist in all invoicing based on the reconciled reports on timely manner, bi-weekly basis, and on chartered flights on need basis, or through CASS.
Assist in collection from customers based on the agreed reports within the credit period together with internal teams.
Assist in space allotment performance, and second leg capacity and allotment fulfillment, in coordination with HQ, regional teams, and Korea Cargo team.
Assist in AWB stock allot to customers.
Monitor all schedule changes and updates in coordination with HQ.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree.
Minimum airline experience 5 years and/or other relevant industry experience.
Sound knowledge and proficiency of computer skills, including Word, Excel and Power Point.
High level of organizational skills and inter-personal skills, and sensitive to numbers; team player.
Ability to work under pressure, plan workload and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
Proven customer orientation and ability to work with internal and external customers.
