1.1 Establish effective communication channels with Suppliers / Manufacturers and customers. 1.2 Design prototype products and present to stakeholders for evaluation quarterly. 1.3 Determine whether existing or alternative materials / equipment will be used and make recommendations. 1.4 Co-ordinate purchases of materials to be used in prototype manufacture. 1.5 Manage the production of prototypes in collaboration with Production Foremen and / or outside Service Providers. 1.6 Testing of prototype in the market to determine the viability of the new product by gathering data from all agencies and stakeholders. 1.7 Evaluate existing product ranges quarterly to:
Determine existing range in terms of (launch, growth, maturity, decline phase).
Plan production capacities and capabilities for existing or new product lines.
Effect improvements and revisions.

1.8 Responsible to design technical drawings for all components and finished products and ensure that all specifications are stipulated on drawing. 1.9 Convert all drawing files to CAM files. 1.10 Validate that the CAM files are functioning / integrating correctly to CNC machines. 1.11 Troubleshooting regarding CAD and CAM related issues. 1.12 Update CNC files to the latest revision level. 1.13 Manage all staff within the department and Ensure that staff are fully resourced and operate effectively 1.14 Take disciplinary or corrective actions when required in line with Company Policies and Procedures. 1.15 Develop training plans in line with succession planning. 1.16 Design signage and display units as per the Group CI and optimise as per site specific conditions. 1.17 Quote signage and display units to the relevant Project coordinator and expedite orders. 1.18 Produce trolley libraries as per design and ensure delivery meets customer commitment. 1.19 Allocate jobs to the manufacturing teams and manage completion schedules. 1.20 Plan showroom installation dates and agree with the customer. 1.21 Execute installation plans 1.22 Evaluate actual cost against quoted cost and submit monthly reports. 1.23 Serves on Safety Committee. 1.24 Ensure that all staff in the department are issued and use the correct and appropriate PPE. 1.25 Follow all the company SHE policies and procedures
BTech Mechanical / similar Qualification.
CAD / CAM Experience.
5 Years in Manufacturing Industry.
Administration experience.
Computer Literacy critical.
Project Management experience.
Change Management experience key
