Roles and responsibilities
Upkeep of the safety system
Conduct risk assessments
Development of policies and procedures
Site visits
Compiling site specific safety files and the maintenance of these files
Induction of all staff and contractors
Arrange annual medicals, entry and exit medicals
Train staff on all policies and procedures
Management of IODs
Conduct Investigations
Arrange for legal trainings to be conducted
Plan and conduct fire drills
Ensure relevant checklists are completed
Certification
SAMTRAC
HIRA
Fall protection plan developer certificate
First aid( advantageous)
Fire fighting (advantageous)
Incident investigation
Drivers license is a must have and own vehicle is advantageous
