Rooms Division / Deputy General Manager Cape Town
A luxury 4-star hotel in Cape Town is seeking a highly motivated Rooms Division / Deputy General Manager. This role requires an experienced professional with a background in front office, housekeeping, and guest services, as well as the ability to assist the General Manager in daily hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the rooms division operations, including front office, housekeeping, and guest services, to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Assist the General Manager in managing the overall hotel operations and maintaining high service standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement strategies to enhance guest experience.
- Manage department budgets and expenses, ensuring financial goals are met.
- Lead, mentor, and train departmental managers and staff to maintain a high-performance culture.
- Implement and maintain policies, procedures, and service standards across all rooms-related departments.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
- Assist with forecasting, revenue management, and ensuring high occupancy levels.
- Handle guest complaints and operational challenges in a timely and professional manner.
- SA citizen.
- Recent experience in a management role within a rooms division in a 4 or 5-star hotel.
- Strong understanding of front office, housekeeping, and guest service operations.
- Leadership experience with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of financial management and budgeting.
- Familiarity with hotel management software (e.g., Opera or similar).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- A passion for delivering outstanding guest service and team development.
