Rigger
An EME based in Pretoria East, Waltloo is looking for an energetic, sharp, committed,
dedicated and disciplined professional to join their team.
The following are the minimum requirements:
1. N3 Certificate in Rigging or relevant qualification.
2. Completed Artisan Trade Test.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in rigging, specifically in environments such as Eskom, Sasol, mining, or bulk materials handling plants.
4. Strong knowledge of rigging equipment and safety procedures.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physically demanding tasks.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Valid driver’s license..
NB: Please attach your current payslip or expected rate.
1. Install, maintain, and dismantle rigging equipment for various operations.
2. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials.
3. Interpret and execute plans and specifications for rigging operations.
4. Conduct inspections of rigging equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
5. Maintain a safe work environment by following industry standards and safety protocols.
6. Troubleshoot rigging issues and implement solutions as necessary..
