Reserve Manager required in Sabi Sand Nature Reserve, Mpumalanga.
The Reserve Manager will oversee, and manage all operational aspects of the reserve, collaborating closely with departmental management teams. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reserve operates smoothly, sustainably, and effectively.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nature Conservation, Environmental Management, or a related field. An MSc or Master’s in Conservation or a related field is preferred.
5 – 10 years of experience in a similar role managing a large, protected area, within a Big 5 Reserve environment.
Knowledge of relevant environmental legislation e.g. NEMPAA, NEMBA, NEMA, POPIA and Tourism legislation.
Computer Proficiency – Microsoft Suite and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) – (packages include ARC, QGIS).
Advanced report writing.
Demonstrated experience in managing protected areas and their link to community and socio-economic projects.
Certified in handgun and self-loading rifle use, with practical firearms handling experience.
