Job title: Professional Nurse
Work Location: Molemole Municipality – Botlokwa/Dendron [one (1) position]
Division/Department: Bio-Medical Services
Salary: R5, 000.00 per month
Job type: Twelve months employment contract
Basic Functions:
The main purpose of this position is to manage the individualist TG client care by promoting and restoring patient health through the nursing process; collaborating with physician and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to TG patients and families; supervising assigned team members. Professional Nurse will be reporting to the District Project Manager for the assigned programme.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Biomedical Interventions / Clinical services;
· Client Treatment support and adherence;
· Quality control, Monitoring and Capacity Building;
· Medical stock management;
· Data Management, Recordkeeping and Reporting.
Job requirements:
Education:
· Diploma/Degree in Nursing;
· Dispensing License;
· NIMART Certificate;
· Pr EP training.
Experience Required:
· Three (3) years’ experience working in an NGO setting/ primary health care setting;
· Professional Body Registration: South African Nursing Council (SANC) is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
· Understanding of the challenges facing transgender people in the health context;
· An ability to communicate and work well with transgender people;
· Willingness to work in unconventional community settings, entertainment areas, and hot spots.
