. Position: Production Planner Based: Midrand, South Africa
Mc Cormick South Africa is looking for a Production Planner with an optimal experience, who will be responsible for integrating customer services, commercial, materials planning and production processes, to give the best output to a customer within an efficient supply chain.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Production Planning: Utilize SAP/Excel to meet demand management requirements, ensuring inventory targets, OEE, allergen compliance, and cost efficiency.
Effective Communication: Address constraints impacting demand and customer service promptly.
Production Plan Adherence: Monitor and communicate adherence by SKU, actively participating in production meetings.
New Product Introductions: Efficiently schedule new product launches and discontinuations.
SAP Expertise: Clarify and maintain production parameters and data within SAP.
Management Reports: Generate ad hoc reports as needed.
Comply with all the company regulations and procedures concerning Health and Safety.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Experience: Desirably 3-5 years in supply chain roles, preferably with FMCG suppliers. Business reporting experience
Qualifications: Supply chain degree or equivalent
Skills: Strong leadership, time management, and analytical abilities. Advanced Excel user.
Presentation: Excellent presentation skills for customer interactions.
Team Player: Collaborate effectively within a matrix structure. Being able to work under pressure.
ERP Exposure: Familiarity with SAP and advanced level supply chain systems.
