Procurement specialist role and responsibilities Sourcing, planning, procurement Vendor assessment evaluate suppliers through pricing, lead times and stock on hand Conduct Supplier evaluation to choose best performing suppliers for the company Material expediting Negotiating skills for best prices Project management and coordination Day to day operations of the business Identify and eliminate risk Forecasting and scheduling work flow and materials Budget reviews Quantifying materials and consumables Be able to work of a plan and order materials off the plan Work closely with property team to understand client specifications and changes if any Work closely with construction team coordinating materials, on site changes and material deliveries Work closely with finance team to prioritize payments and recons Supplier pricing comparison for 3 quote system Must be able to go to different sites and meet different contractors Monitor and give feedback to management on projects and maintenance issues Standby on weekends for any maintenance or breakdowns Some mechanical knowledge for equipment and tools Some basic knowledge on plumbing, electrical, air-conditioning, steel & aluminium Must have knowledge in construction and interior finishes Excellent skills in excel and office Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: R10 000,00 - R13 000,00 per month Experience:
