Job Purpose:
To carry out quality repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure effectiveness and availability.

To carry out quality repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure effectiveness and availability.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment
- Service of machinery and equipment
- Preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Electrical and Mechanical Equipment Upgrade
- Maintaining preventive registers, updating registers of machinery and equipment
- Performing quality inspections on all components that have been repaired, in-house or by external service provider
- Identification of critical inventory to ensure availability
- Ensure that good maintenance of machinery is maintained in the workshop
- Performing Root Cause Analysis for Repetitive Breakdowns
- Standby service and overtime work
- Comply with food, hygiene and safety measures.
QUALIFICATIONS & KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualified Millwright
- N4 with minimum 5 years’ experience
- Experience of VSD and electric motor control, pneumatic systems and PLC experience will count in your favour
- Being willing to work long hours, weekends, assistance, and overtime
- Medically fit
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
- Knowledge of Code of Practice 29
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work within a team
- Troubleshooting
- Knowledge of OHS Act
- Ability to perform under pressure
