Vacancy: Managing Director – Personal Assistant Date: 07 October 2024 Purpose of the Job:
This is a senior role that requires a professional and reliable individual with high standards and integrity to serve as a confidential Personal Assistant to the Managing Director (MD).
To provide support to the MD andcoordinates construction projects and manage procurement activities within the company.
Duties and responsibilities
Construction project management.
Manage procurement activities.
Monitor resource usage to control costs and minimize waste.
Estimate project costs and track expenses to ensure that projects stay within budgetary constraints.
Handling any other tasks or duties as required by the employer
Requirements and desired skills
BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
A minimum of 5 years of senior management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the civil & construction industry.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate and Procurement qualification are advantageous.
In-depth knowledge of the civil & construction industry, including market trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures
Solid knowledge of accounting regulations
Excellent math skills with an attention to detail
Time-management abilities
