Management Couple | North West

JD Specialized Recruitment is partnering with a Private Lodge in the North West, to recruit a guest centric and dynamic MANAGEMENT COUPLE.
Requirements
Lodge Manager

Minimum of 5 years of senior lodge experience essential
Diploma or Degree in Hospitality or similar.
Strong FOH and BOH experience, demonstrating the ability to manage all aspects of lodge operations.

Empathetic and compassionate with strong leadership skills.
Excellent financial acumen, including budget management.
Valid driver’s license, own transport, and PDP advantageous.
Exceptional command of the English language, both written and spoken. Proficiency in other languages advantageous.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and emotional stability.
Sound employment history and contactable references.

Field Guide

Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position within a luxury lodge environment.
Previous experience as a Senior Guide is essential.
FGASA Level 2 certification or nearing completion.
First Aid Level 2, and current Professional Driver's Permit (PDP).
Excellent hand-on maintenance skills, including plumbing and general maintenance.
Strong organization, delegation, and initiative-taking abilities.
Full Trails qualification and ARH (Advanced Rifle Handling) would be advantageous.
Passion for providing exceptional guest experiences in a safari setting.
