Job Description
- Reservation, preparation of offers and bookings in the reservation system
- Handling requests from guests and travel partners via the phone and e-mail
- Taking care of guests’ concerns during their stay
- Check-in and check-out for arriving and departing guests
- Control of incoming payments and payment requests
- Assistance with administrative work at the end of the month including stock control
- Willingness to help with daily work, even outside the office, such as room control checks, hosting during dinner times
- Reports to the Lodge Manager
Relevant hospitality management qualification
Skills
- Experience on a similar job in an environment and at a lodge at similar level, or degree from a hotel management school
- Experience with administration and reservation systems, knowledge of Panstrat a plus
- Computer skills in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and others
- Excellent communications skills in English, written and oral
- Team-player who feels well being part of a team with flat hierarchies and direct communication channels
- Works calmly and solution-oriented and remains calm as a leader in emergencies and crises
- Willingness to work and live in the bush (on a 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off cycle)
- Accommodation (own room & bathroom)
