The North Coast Courier is looking for an enthusiastic, committed and experienced senior journalist for the leading community newspaper in Ballito.
Applicants should have a demonstrated knowledge of the newsroom and be able to quickly produce relevant and informed articles for both our online publication and our weekly newspaper.

Our journalists must have a good news sense, be able to build and maintain a working contact base, contribute innovative story ideas and have a passion for uncovering stories that matter.

Requirements:
A technikon diploma in journalism is an advantage.
Excellent writing skills and the ability to take good photographs imperative.
We particularly value accuracy, versatility, and the ability to write concisely and clearly. You must be computer literate.
The successful applicant must be able to adapt writing for print, online and social media platforms as well as be comfortable to use video.
Own transport and valid driver's licence.
