WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO:


Define and implement a comprehensive QA strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
Provide strategic leadership and guidance to QA teams, ensuring that quality is embedded into every aspect of the software development lifecycle.
Establish and maintain quality metrics and KPIs to track and monitor the effectiveness of QA initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
Lead the design and implementation of advanced test automation frameworks and methodologies to maximize testing efficiency and coverage.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality-related risks and issues throughout the development process.
Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring that these are reflected in the quality standards and final product.
Proactively identify and address potential quality issues that could impact client satisfaction, ensuring a seamless and positive user experience.
Act as a subject matter expert on QA principles, methodologies, and tools, providing mentorship and coaching to QA team members.
Lead a team of nearly 10 staff, set clear goals, provide appropriate mentorship, and work to develop their skillsets.


THE NON-NEGOTIABLES:


Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a proven track record of leadership in defining and implementing QA strategies for complex projects.
Extensive experience in test automation using industry-leading tools and frameworks, with a strong emphasis on scalability and maintainability.
Deep technical expertise in software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address quality-related issues in a proactive and systematic manner.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.


NICE TO HAVES:


Experience with performance testing and profiling tools such as JMeter, Load Runner, or Gatling.
Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Certification in software testing or related field (e.g., ISTQB Expert Level Certification).
Experience with Agile methodologies and practices, such as Scrum or Kanban.
Experience in the Asset Management industry.
